When Should You Choose Aluminum Pivot Doors Instead of Traditional Entry Doors?
Ever stood in front of a house and just stared at the door? The right entryway completely sets the vibe.
We’re excited to kick off our Photographer Spotlight series with Jeremy Doddridge, an Austin-area architectural photographer whose thoughtful, light-driven approach makes our windows and doors shine.
Jeremy grew up around cameras, thanks to his mother’s love for photography. “She got me started on disposable cameras and opened my eyes to different perspectives I could turn into art,” he shared. That early start, combined with a love for design and a background in architecture, naturally led him to architectural photography.
His goal behind the lens? To go beyond documentation and create emotion. “I always want to convey a feeling and mood—a sense of purpose with the photos. Breathe life into them through the lens to display how it would feel to be in the space,” he explained.
One of Jeremy’s favorite scenes to shoot is a home’s exterior at dusk or dawn. The soft ambient light, paired with interior lighting glowing through windows and doors, helps bring a space to life.
A constant theme in his work is light. “Light is everything,” he said. “The way natural light fills a home is immediately noticeable. It can create beautiful moments as light and shadow spread across walls and floors. As a photographer, it’s one of the first things I scout.”
His advice for anyone photographing a home? “Think about the time of day, and where the sun will be shining in different rooms to light the home so you can capture the space in the best light.”

Stay tuned for more featured photographers in this series—and thank you, Jeremy, for sharing your story and beautiful work.
