A Remodeling Business Brings Their Expertise Home

Drew and Skevi Yoder, owners of Houston-based Yoder Remodels, have built a reputation for high-end home renovations that blend luxury and comfort. Recently, they undertook a particularly personal project—remodeling their own one-story home in West Houston. The result is a stunning transformation showcasing the couple’s vision for modern living while maintaining timeless charm. The remodel features luxury elements throughout, with custom aluminum windows by RAM, creating a light-filled, welcoming space that feels both open and intimate.

The Yoder home originally had lower ceilings, smaller windows, and a traditional layout typical of older homes in the area. Drew and Skevi saw the potential to open up the space and bring in more natural light. By raising the ceilings and installing larger casement and picture windows from RAM, they created an expansive and airy feel throughout the home. The blend of windows—some featuring classic grids and others sleek and unadorned—perfectly highlights the balance of old and new that defines the Yoder Remodels style.

Drew and Skevi met while Drew was stationed in Cyprus during his military service, and their shared experiences overseas have influenced their approach to home design. The Yoders prioritize creating spaces that are not only luxurious but also feel like home, a philosophy that comes through in every detail of their own West Houston residence.
