Ray Watson: Road to The Mint 400 with RAM Engineer
Meet Ray Watson, RAM engineer, who has has completed two desert races through Las Vegas, NV. In our interview, Ray talks about what it’s like being an engineer for RAM.
St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston has been a cornerstone of theological education and spiritual formation since its founding in 1901. With its rich history and mission to prepare men for the priesthood, the seminary holds a special place in the hearts of many. Over time, maintaining the campus’s historic charm while ensuring functionality and comfort has become a priority. That’s where RAM Windows & Doors assisted with an important update: replacing aging windows in the library, main office buildings, and living quarters.
For this project, RAM’s single-hung windows with a sleek clear anodized finish were selected to revitalize the library and several residential spaces. These windows not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the seminary but also provide improved energy efficiency and functionality.
The library at St. Mary’s Seminary is not only a hub for theological study but also houses one of the most extensive collections of religious texts in the region. Its archives include rare manuscripts and historical documents that date back centuries, making it a vital resource for scholars and clergy alike.
The clear anodized finish on the library windows complements the timeless architecture of the campus while offering durability to withstand Houston’s challenging climate.
In addition to the library and living quarters, RAM’s casement windows were installed in the main office buildings. These windows provide a modern yet subtle update, blending seamlessly with the seminary’s architectural design. The casement style allows for optimal ventilation and natural light, creating a welcoming and productive environment for faculty and staff.
This project exemplifies RAM Windows & Doors’ commitment to preserving the character of historic buildings while delivering modern solutions. By combining high-quality materials with thoughtful design, we’ve helped ensure that St. Mary’s Seminary remains a functional and inspiring space for years to come.
