Christopher and Nicole Garrett, the dynamic husband-and-wife team behind Garrett Custom Homes & Fine Renovation, bring over 33 years of combined experience in home building and design. Their projects, known for their elegance and functionality, reflect their attention to detail and client satisfaction. Recently, the Garretts made a significant lifestyle shift, moving from the bustling city of Houston to the serene countryside of Needville, Texas.
Their countryside haven in Needville is a picturesque retreat, teeming with life and nature, and is home to a variety of animals, including chickens, sheep, dogs, and cats. The Garretts' property is covered in country-style white luxury aluminum RAM picture windows, featuring both colonial and timeless diamond-lattice grid patterns. As you drive down the quiet road to their property, fields of horses come into view, enhancing the remote and quaint feel of their surroundings. Despite the change in their living location, Christopher and Nicole remain dedicated to their business, spending their days in Houston, managing projects and building homes.
“Our inspiration comes from places we've never been before. Like the English countryside or Martha Stewart's Farm... Any number of places that just have an amazing visual aesthetic that we personally love.” -Nicole Garrett, Garrett Custom Homes & Fine Renovation
The decor of their home is a blend of shabby chic glam, reflecting Nicole’s keen eye for interior design. This style combines the rustic charm of vintage decor with the elegance and sophistication of modern glamor. The Garretts' journey from city living to country serenity embodies their passion for creating beautiful spaces, both for their clients and themselves, showcasing their versatility and dedication to their craft.
